yea i would still atleast tack in the tips
a. so no one trys to steal them
b. i had one on my s-10 and noticed a ratling noce then heard something like a tin can being throw out the window look behind me and see that tip bouncing off the road

looks a lot better  i agree. the tips make a big difference as far as looks are concerned
