Neon, the only proper neon is the srt-4. Mercedez knows that the neon sucks, as does every other dodge car besides the viper and the srt-4. But you know what, they are getting rid of all of them because they suck and only paupers who wish they had a Celica buy them. Dodge gets to stay with things they know, trucks and the srt-4. Now youre high and dry and celicas are going into the 8th generation. (No, I'm not in debt from my celi)

hmmm celica or neon tough decision celica all the way i mean ya there other things i would consider over a celica but i'd have to jump another 10000-15000$ to be in the right bracket for the other car i'd consider
I admit, they're car maybe faster than ours with the right modifications. But thats becuz they have a lot of aftermarket parts, unlike celicas. But ours cars is much better in quality, liability, handling, and best of all looks. Ten years down the line our celicas will still be running good, unlike neons,5 years tops. I wouldn't want to be caught dead in one of those neons. There is only one word that comes to mind when i see a hooked up neon, RICE!
I am down with this dude. In terms of selling and quality, Toyota dominates over piece of shit Plymoth, Dodge, Chrysler whatever the fuck the Neon is under. But I will say the new SRT-4 has some good power to it...but has ugly looks, shit interior, and what will that engine be doing after being driven hard? Fall apart? Most likely unless Dodge knows what is going on. I don't give two fucks about your shit Neon because one thing, it is ugly as fuck. Number 2, i don't care how fast it is, I don't race and lots of members here don't either. They would rather have a sports car that they enjoy modding and driving around going to shows and placing. Where is your Neon going to get? No where, maybe 12 secs on the quarter but that's it. Third, I don't care if your redoing the freaking symbol or not you took our site's administrator's idead and used it without permission. Go have fun with your Neon's. I started this thread because I was getting AIM messages by people complaining about how they sent their $$$ for neon parts for their cars and never got the products, never got an email, never got any contact information, no contact details could be found on the NEON web page, no name, no address - NOTHING.
I spent much time talking with these neon owners telling them that EverythingCELICA and EverythingNEON have nothing to do with each other. EverythingCELICA is an actual online store - not some home-made ebay garage sale such as the NEON site is.
I had to explain to them that the NEON site ripped off our logo and our good name - just so that the NEON website could turn around and rip it's ebay customers off as well.
One of the major points I had to explain to those persons was the fact that all this time and dedication was put into the presentation / display, functionality, information resource and background programing of EverythingCELICA... but hardly any effort was used to make up that dodge neon website - it looked like it was slammed together in ms Frontpage after a few beers and 32 minutes of keyboard pounding.
NEON - your ebay customers are angry... please, YOU DEAL WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS SO THAT I DON'T HAVE TO. Because after today... when your customers IM me, I will first refer them to this thread and then to the BBB

Well there must have been some sort of mixup, I just started selling on ebay a week ago I have feedback of 1, which is the one positive from a guy who won an auction Saturday and had his part Wednesday hard to complain about that.

my dad has been getting neons for $50.. UNWRECKED for his junkyard... you can't even get a mangled demolished celica for that much... that should tell you something...
I agree that the SRT-4's are faster then a celica...but thats not all I look for in a car, i want a car that LOOKS GOOD, performs well, handles well, and gets chicks...I belive the celica is a very well rounded vehicle. If I wanted an affordable fast car, then the SRT-4 neons good for just that...being fast.

Did any one else pick up on this? He is trying to be all superior by saying that he got his car into the 12's and only invested a total of $5,000 to do so, some thing that no Celica could ever do.
But then on an old post from the other site, he listed almost $8,000 in parts. Add the body kit and the cost of the audio stuff, and he really does have over $10,000 invested in that Neon!
