i was just told today that i will need to get Spacers if i widebody my car. i just want to know if there are any disadvantages of having Spacers and any safety issues that may come about if i use these Spacers (the car is daily-driven.) Thanks all.

You could always get wider rims. 18X9 I think.

^^ winder rims are $$ + tires for 18 X 9 run over $200 a pop--which is the main reason Spacers exist in the first place.

there's really not a big problem with Spacers as far as reliability is concerned provided you don't space out over 1 inch...the more you start spacing the less reliable it will be (although you still shouldnt have any problems with them). thumbsup
