Hi All,
i recently got a speeding ticket in Maryland - 59 in 40 zone. this is my first ticket in 4 yrs. Should I just pay the fine, or plead guilty with an explanation or plead not guilty?

Any advise , experience will be helpful.

Here in Ontario I hire a former police officer (X-Coppers) to represent me in court. They go & I don't have to. They work out a plea bargain & I saved demerit points & saved money on the fine. It was worth it. thumbsup

Does Maryland let you go to driving school? Here in Arizona, if you haven't gone to school for two years, you can take a 4-hour "defensive driving" course, and the ticket is dismissed. You just end up having to pay for the class.
