Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Carbon Fiber Trunk Pics... (Post Opinions)

i have to say that the mirrors are a pain in the ass, they are a bitch to adjust especially the passenger side, in the beginning they are really hard to see out of, they should be convex but they aren't, it just takes some getting used to, but you have to shoulder check a lot. if you like to weave in and out of traffic then my suggestion is don't get it because you have major blind spots...

but they look fucken sweet

Holy smokes, how did I miss this product! I just hit up my local shop to see how much they're gonna charge to get one of those up to Canada, then it's all mine!

Sultan, I'm getting my APR carbon fiber mirrors from the ECelica store...should have 'em in a week or so...I say go for those two if you like the look I shoulder check like crazy anyways so I don't think I'll notice a huge difference.

SULTAN: GO GET IT BRO!!!!!...and for the roof, get a carbon fiber roof scoop...it will look agressive as hell!!!!!...but if you don't then definitely go with the trunk

they make carbon-fiber fenders too...saw them at krazykustoms.com that trunk loooks sick...

Btw: Doesn't look like there's a hole for the rear windscreen wiper. Doesn't the US spec celica have a rear windscreen wiper, or is it just that Carbon Fiber trunk?

We sure as h--l have it here in europe, and it looks horrible. Having it removed this winter, along with the antenna (which sits on the roof btw...)

still debating on whether or not to put my RMM Carbon Fiber wing on it... the new trunk can definitely take the weight but it would ruin the flow imo since the spolier end plates are painted carbon blue and only the center piece is Carbon Fiber -
