yeah welcome to the club...

I used polishing compound and rubbing compound to atleast rid the car of the shitty white fading look.

Use both, first rubbing compound, than poilishing compound.
It will take a couple of layers to do, but it kills the fading look...

Shit, mine looks like crappy poo poo man. A nice car with a crappy poo poo sunroof just does not mix well.

I am thinking of getting some sort of overlay to go on that piece of garbage. Do you think that will work???

The Toyota dealership is trying to charge me $880 to fix my peeling sunroof. Good luck trying to deal with them. No thanks to the Toyota service department.

I had to have my car fixed and took it to a body shop. I guess some retard there thought "ill just take a razor and scrape off the faded part of the glass". So i get back a week later to see my sun roof scraped all to hell because this guy went at the fade with a vengence. They denied the whole thing and i just didnt have the time to fight them over it so now im gona try to just retint it or something.

dang yal, i am on the same boat here, but the hing was that there is a shop here in Fresno Ca. that gave me a deal on scraping off the tent and polishing it out for me. He did a super-d-duper job with it and he also buff my baby out too... all for a decent price. I sure hope you find a way to fix your, cause i know how it feels.

when I got my sunroof replaced under warranty the new one came with a sticker on the underside that said not to get any type of buffer or wax near the sunroof because of the type of resin its made out off. If your local detail shop or you have rubbed it even slightly with wax your going to get peel sooner or later... So dumb.. But I guess you have to sacrific something to save on weight.. I was still under my basic 36,000 warranty when this happened.
