I've been trying to brain storm ideas to make my interior black not grey! This includes the dash, the center console... actually everything plastic in the car The main thing is I want to have a nice textured paint job rather than a typical "take a bottle of paint and spray black" cause that would look very plastic. I like the interior I have right now if it was just black! Give me ideas! thanks!

Might just be easier to take the interior out of a newer wrecked Celica.

There's actually an interior spray can that you can get. They come in different colors and you can choose whatever you want. Hrm... I think Duplicolor makes it, but I know Advanced Auto has it. Steven, you remember that stuff you tried out on your trunk plastics?

If you want it to really look good get an 03 interior from a wrecked celica like slidr said and put that in. I do like how the newer celicas have that black rather than the old dark gray.

Yeah, but good luck finding it. A wrecked celica is so rare. And to get just the right year with all the good parts in it. Go find a leprechaun first, then try for the interior.

Don't dye it unless you know what you're doing. Duplicolor makes a spray can that looks like spray paint but it can be applied on plastics. The problem is that it flakes easily.

please define "know what you're doing"? I am also very interested in getting it black, and have even gone so far as to consult a professional to do it. Are there anyways to prevent the flaking?
