problem #1:
i have the APR strut bar and when i turn the steering wheel, i hear like a knocking sound. i checked the install and the bar isn't touching anythind. sound sounds like it's comming from the shock themselves. anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

problem #2:
i have the trd exaust. when ever i start from 1 to 2 to 3rd gear, and press the gas pedal, i hear some sort of queeking noise comming from was sounds like the front. my friend says he thinks the sound is comming from the back tho. it sounds like metal rubbing eachother. and this only happens when the car is hot or on a hot day

any tips/ideas would be apreciated

try to reinstall the TRD exhaust.

when hot, those things expand a bit, and that might cause it to rub on some metal. either that or bolt it tightly again.

the APR strut bar, try reinstall it. take everything apart, then install it again. tighten each side evenly, dont tighten one side then go to the other.

constantly tighten both sides.

Solution to #1:
Before installing your APR bar, did you wipe down the area where the plates will be sitting? Often times if that area is not smooth from debris, the plates will not sit 100% flat no matter how much you tighten - because there will be small grit/sand between the two flat spaces, making it possable for the plates to slide enough to make that knocking sound you hear.

Simply follow the suggestion that was already posted above and while you're at it, take a damp cloth and wipe down the areas of where the plates make contact to your vehicle.

The solution I found on another site (and it seems to have done the trick), is to unbolt the bar and apply grease/lubricant to the bottom of the strut bar plates, as well as the rubber contacts on the top of the strut tower.

Seems that when taking turns or bumps, the rubber expands just a little bit, causing slight noise when it rubs against the metal plates. Minimizing this friction should eliminate the rubbing/grinding noises you hear.

for the apr bar, i think you need to loosen the bolts that hold the bar onto the plate, and adjust it so it is as far away as possible from the chassis of the car. i had this problem too
