So I have a JL Audio 12W7 running off of a JL 1000/1. Well my problem is the nuts that hold the spoiler down always loosen and fall off creating an annoying rattle. It would have been nice if they didnt do that. But other then that there are no other rattles. So thats great. But the spoiler keeps giving me problems. But what other systems are people running on here?

you and I are pushing the same setup... and I've had mine up pretty loud - not a single problem here Next time you are in, messing with your spoiler nuts - add a second nut to the combination... two nuts will make its more difficult for it to come loose... or just simply add a dab of RUBBER CAULK to the bolt after the nut is in place (people with dirt minds, don't give me that evil eye, you know exactly what I'm talking about)

I would get rattles from my blitz bumper though - then I added a second nut to the screw (as posted above) and never had any problems since

My spoiler on the right bass notes, flaps like a bird. I'm running 2 Infiniti 12's. But it still doesn't rattle.

i am also running to 12 infinitys but i do have a ratel on the rear door handle other then that its perfect The solution to fix the rattle on your rear door handle is rather simple. All that is needed is a single FELT-FOOT... the thing that has sticky on one side and felt on the other side - they're usually stuck under items that sit on a coffee table so they wont damage the surface when the items are slid around... look under your lap-top or calculator and you'll find "rubber feet"... this is basically the same thing except its thinner and often green. they can be purchased in a box of 24 pieces from your local store (Ralph's, Vons, Albertsons, Thrifty, Sav-on, Wallgreens, HomeDepot, OSH...etc) for about $1.99 take one of these little round "feet" and place it between your trunk and the handle (upon closer inspection, the install location will be obvious) This solution also works great for the other door handles and to be used on your license plate frame if that rattles too these can be stacked if you need to use more than one

whatever you do, dont over-tighten the nuts on the spoiler. i did on one of the nuts and the entire bolt-thingy along with the nut broke off.
I've mastered the art of the After Image Technique.
