You would think that people would NOT want to advertise who they think should be in charge of other people's futures... its just asking for vandalism by those who disagree idunno

First, he will win. Second, Bush isnt bringing back the draft. Third, Kerry doesnt give a damn about anybody but himself let alone "the black man". The man blows so much smoke I often wonder how much oil he goes through.

The Draft has been decided unconstitutional and nomatter what Bush's opinion is on the matter, it will never happen. That is why there is a Congress, nobody ever agrees with everything that a president thinks. With the largest standing military in the world there would be no reason to have a draft, although If there came a time that we ever would need a draft, I personaly think that one should not live in a country that he/she is not willing to fight for.
Speeking of War, they just found out that Kerry is planning on calling up 40,000 more troops after the election if he wins. Kind of weird for a man who says he's against the war. Oh, wait he voted to go to war. Oh, wait...im confused. That dumb bastard will do that to you.

first of all Kerry is pro war. He's just lying because he knows its his best chance of getting elected. Second, what you dont understand is that those dollars are not waisted. Never before have a terrorist organization had such a successful attack against the US, and as Bush and Kerry both know from here on out if the US doesnt go on the offensive with terrorism than the attacks will only get worse. What is the price tagg you put on your safety? 2.5% of your paycheck I guess! The American that has it the worst in the US still has it a million times better than 99.99% of the population, so you might want to think of that.

first of all, the draft is not entirely out of the question, it's just inactive...with a prodominantly republican based house and senate bush has a lot of free roaming with what he wants passed or not. and with a few of the justices in the supreme court getting on in years whoever is president will most likely appoint the new ones. and from the sounds of you saying things about how you are seemingly pro draft you have no idea what war is like and how forcing people to go into a war that very few people in the country let alone the world are in favor of...this isn't the movies and this is life and death...i say if you are so proud to support your candidate then you should go all out...why wait for a draft go volunteer...come back and tell me how you feel then. you're roughly my age, did your dad have to deal with a draft? did he have to worry whether or not he would live or die the next day and not know why he was forced in a combat position?

my parents and relatives had to live with that for a large portion of their lives and i lost an uncle due to that.

why did we go to war with iraq? terrorist? weapons of mass destruction?

at the time N.Korea was threatening to bomb us and bush ignores them, we hardly everhear about al queda and afghanestan anymore...have we foud osama? have we found the weapons?

i don't dny that saddam is an evil SOB, but where are we now? the was is "over" so to speak, but we have hostiges being killed, soldiers being bombed...where is it going to end???

Don't get the impression that i hate bush, because i don't. he's a very interesting guy and a very, very likeable guy...i just don't respect his actions in sending thousands of soldiers into war...a unilateral war, a war that wasn't widely accepted by the UN...which by the way his father had the support of the UN in the 1st gulf war

I have never been able to understand why people would want to put election stickers on their car anyways. It's not like it's Bush and Cheney forever. This is something that will be over in a few months, hopefully. I see it looked like you taped the sticker to your car. Thank goodness. At least you have the ability to take it off November 3. But permanently attaching a sticker to the car? I see cars around my way still with the pro Reagan/Bush bumper stickers! It just doesn't make sense to broadcast something that isn't indefinite.

the comment made no sence, he thinks just because there are strugling black men in this world its all bushes fault. and second i dont think a draft is a good idea becuase its un constitutional. however, i believe it can be necessary in certain situations. also we dont realy give a damn about n. korea because even though they are trying to make nukes, they are not stupid enough to use them. what we do have to worry about with n.korea is that they may sell them. something i dont think they would do anyways since you can trace nuclear material back to who made them. second we went to war to increase are influence in the middle east. and what i mean by that is this; we need to fight terrorist in the middle east and afghanistan wasnt enough, the terrorist are just leaving there. there has been for some time the beliefe that saddam had weapons of md, so that was another reason. I dont understand people who say that is untrue he was in serious violation of UN sanctions, he had an active 60 billion dollar nuclear program, and key components to making nukes. thats some serious cash when vertualy all the people in that country are below the poverty line. war is a god awful thing and i think it is crazy to go to war, however if you ask me weither i would rather have my kids die in a terrorist attack like those in russia, or have 3500 lives whipped out in an instant like those in 911, or risk american lives over sea's fighting to fix the problem and not ignor it. i choose the later.

ofcourse if you would like to keep living in a fantacy land, like Clintons camp thinking that it will never happen again. thats your perogative

One of my friends is in the Marines and fought in Iraq. He recently came back last year and had the same response you did.

I strongly dissagree with Bush and most of his views. In my oppinon he is too narrow minded, and his own personal agendas caused him to manipulate and mislead so many people. I dont concider Kerry a much better candidate either yet I find myself unfortunately having to chose the lesser of two evils and that would be Kerry!

I have found that politics and religion are very touchy subjects and can grow from tactiful debates to heated angry arguments I hope this thread doesnt turn to that.

By the way any kind of stickers on a car is Xtremely gay!
unless their well done cool classy graphix. Just another way to ask for some vandalism. rolleyes

oh im sorry that i wrote that i was an expert...wait i didnt but i do know that kerry is not worse off than bush...maybe if you were to watch cnn or any other news show and see that kerry has no way of making up his mind than you could possibly change ur mind...im happy that people are serving this great country and come back alive and safe...they have a right to chose kerry...but think about this...my cousin is over there in the middle of bombings...he came back for two weeks and is now over there...when he was home we asked him who he liked...being that he is from boston you would think he would say kerry...he said he has no clue...they have no clue because not that maay people have a tv over there becaue their is this thing called a way getting in their way of watching kerry flp flop and spit out more crap every week.in closing no im not an expert but i do work with a lot of history teachers...and they are pretty much close to being experts. so i go by what they say...and yes most are democrats since we are teachers...but they seem to favor bush. Also in closing Hum on my nutz if ur voting for kerry cause that makes a little more sense than voting for him.

i'm not saying that anyone pointed a finger at me, and i'm not saying that by any means that i'm an expert, but i'm double majoring in business and political science with emphasis on international relations...i'm not an expert, but i have professors with phd's and masters that are and they share the same beliefs.

i'm going to leave this thread now before it gets real ugly wave

I watch CNN as well as "FOX news unfair and unbalanced" every day my furry little friend! Im up to date on the entire campaign. From the swift boat veterans for truth to the texans for truth... and from false documentation about bush's military history to bush focusing on Iraq as his stepping stone instead of other issues such as health care and reform in the U.S. because he is weak in these issues... I am informed so dont make judgements about my knowledge. My decision is mine to make who are you to say I'm wrong? I never said you were wrong I simply stated my opinion about this issue. You vote for who you want and so will I.

As for your immature comments they hold no place in a tactiful discussion. Furthermore you are not important enough for me to argue with.

In a closing statement... YOU JUST GOT OWNED! thumbsup happywink

my parents and relatives had to live with that for a large portion of their lives and i lost an uncle due to that.

why did we go to war with iraq? terrorist? weapons of mass destruction?

at the time N.Korea was threatening to bomb us and bush ignores them, we hardly everhear about al queda and afghanestan anymore...have we foud osama? have we found the weapons?

i don't dny that saddam is an evil SOB, but where are we now? the was is "over" so to speak, but we have hostiges being killed, soldiers being bombed...where is it going to end???

Don't get the impression that i hate bush, because i don't. he's a very interesting guy and a very, very likeable guy...i just don't respect his actions in sending thousands of soldiers into war...a unilateral war, a war that wasn't widely accepted by the UN...which by the way his father had the support of the UN in the 1st gulf war
