If a car were made of spot welds it wouldnt make it outa the assembly plant. You are not ignorant but your comments are
since you dont have one how can you judge if its a piece of shit or not, its okay to not like them people have opinions but you dont have to go posting on a celica forum how much you hate mustangs just doesn't make sense to me
in school i just wached a vid of mustangs beein made from bottom up they arnt made all that well im not downing ford ..my mom n step dad has 3 ford trucks rather them b chevy but yah know
for like every one celica theres like 20 mustangs and idk all bout the new 05 but ide much raher have a new c6 vette
but you can say the same for damn near every big 3 car on the road. Thats what happens when theres only 3 major auto companies in one country. I live in Detroit and see Tons of Vettes, camaros, stangs, vipers, big 3 you name it. that doesnt mean I hate them just means they make a lot of them cause a lot of ppl buy them
i see mustangs everywhere (i got my gts, because there few aroun my area) but there's nothin wrong with them.. seem like good cars cant say anythin because i dont have one, but my lil 14yr ol sister has a 68' mustang bad ass engine too
who doesn't own one, every person in stang thinks they're bad ass, even if it's a pussy v6. My boy's got a cobra and it still handles like shit. I like the saleen that's about it
The Mustang, like most Ford products, seems to be built to merely get beyond the 3yr warranty, then deteoriate in spectacular fashion. Look at the used car lots and you'll see a huge inventory of 3 yr old 'stangs. At least in CT. The car itself is not hideous, I think our problem seems to be that the typical buyer is somewhat of a suburban-gangsta-wannabe-yahoo of sorts, if I may take the liberty to stereotype as such.
Life is the sexually transmitted interruption of an otherwise peaceful existence...
I used to have a 1990 Mustang GT Anniversary edition and it kicked ass. I really loved that car. I Like Mustangs except the previous model from the 87-93 and the next model from it.
not popular played out they were nice in the 70s but now there just junk
What the hell are you smoking. After 1971, they went to shit just like all the other muscle cars because of high gas prices, high insurance, and smog concerns. They were nice in the 60's, but they were shit until 1993. I always have hated the Fox Mustangs.
this thread should be locked, it tells a lot about somebody who talks shit about other cars, for no apparent reason im sure we all hate it when people talk shit about the celica because they are ignorant but you are doing the same thing about the mustang and im sure since im also an owner of a 02 mustang GT mustang owners will think ur talking shit and prolly post up here eventually or some shit or talk shit about the GTS
i dont mind them in general. i just hate how everyone in my area buys one..throws on some flowmasters and drives around like a jackass. so i guess i dont like them that much do to my local drivers. but in general i like all cars that people take good care of.
Hmm... Mod V8 w/tons of torque, Rear-wheel drive... Recently redesigned (looking like the mid 60's mustang again)
What's not to like? Mustangs make awesome drift cars, and there will always be tons of aftermarket stuff for it.
I almost bought a mustang instead of my celica, hey, I might buy one as my next car. I was weened on musclecars as a kid, so I wouldn't mind driving one.
Of course, with mopar offerings like the Hemi Magnum wagon, 300M and soon to be offered new version of the hemi-powered Charger, I may have plenty of options to consider. Pontiac GTO would be cool too, but way too expensive for what you get... Plus it doesn't look like a GTO to me. A Z or a rotaty may not be out of the question either, but I miss my old V8's; If gas weren't so damn expensive...
import enthusiast tend to think that mustangs are slow and made like shit. but have any of you ever run a few or actually researched them.
ive got tons of friends with fords that are nearly breaking 200k and still running strong. a car is like anything else if you take care of it, the car will last for a long time. if you abuse and treat it like crap of course its going to break down and give you shit.
but just once i would like to see a celica break 400hp and still be daily driven
i have been a avid mustang fan since i was little.
they can last jsut as long as any car as long as you take care of them.
as said before they went downhill in 71 and on. how ever the 87-93 fuel injected 5.0's where fast as hell after a little work to them great drag cars.
have you ever sat in a race prepped stang i doubt it. a memeber of my club has a 87 mustang that would eat your celcia alive on the track(not drag strip road course) and it only has about 250 hp.
currently my new project car is a 67 mustang and its a lot more fun than my celica was. nothing beats a v8 rumble.
all those of you who bash the msutang either never owned one or bought a used one that was beat on the strip.
beat a celica and it will last just as short.
i still don't understand the idea of making a celica a drag car doesn't make sense.
I think Mustangs are alrite. Have nothing against it, I just prefer imports. I saw a Cobra the other day and this morning I saw a GT, that fucker sounded nice and loud.
i saw two mustangs get into a fender bender at my school parking lot. i dont konw how it happened? acutally i do it's just how they got inthte accident htat confused me. they both pulled out from the parking spaces and hit each other. and they were facing each other. anyways they blocked the way out, so everyoen was stuck for an hour.

girls at my skool like the looks of the mustang... i like the cobras, and i wouldn't use it for daily driving so it'll last longer than 3 years. celicas are pimp but you shouldn't bag on the mustangs so bad because they can still kick an imports ass

They can kick an imports ass??? What, just any import? You're right, a WRX definitelly couldn't keep up with a mustang. A RX-7 couldn't keep up with a mustang. A supra couldn't keep up with a mustang. Please! Mustangs are crap. The 94-98 especially. And as for the old fox bodies, they're fast, but they're ugly as sin. Ford almost discontinued the line due to two years of sales on those bodies alone. The new GT's will cost you an extra $5,630 in the first year alone, according to Edmunds.com's info. $676 in repairs in the first year. Yeah, great car.
