I say change the lift bolts. And for the timing belt, is it making any type of weird noises?? If so change it, if not, then wait till it starts making that terrible noise.
But yeah, go change the bolts.

Yourself or at Toyota? If you do it yourself it will only cost you about $2 bucks.

OO. Hmm...not too sure how much they charge. Let's wait for fellow ECelica members to jump in with the price.

when I had mine checked/replaced they said 300$ just to look at em, when one was broken it all ended up to be 900$ total.. you dont need that many tools to do it just get a couple sockets (dont remember what size). If they arent broken its very easy and inexpensive.

as long as you dont go on lift often, ur bolts shouldnt wear out as much. celicas dont have timing belt, the belt ur talkin bout is the serpentine belt and the belt tensioner. most of the celicas have problems with them but some dont. celicas have timing chain, you can change that after 100,000 miles or later.

It seems like all you need is a 10 and 12 mm socket and a swivel head ratchet to get at some of the bolts. Someone you know has to have those tools.

and celicas don't have a timing belt...they have a timing chain and it will last you past 100K
