ok i kept getting the Err 1 message whenver i pop in any new burned cd...i use Nero 6.0 and Maxell cdr..that's not the best brand to use i suppose..that's not the point..the point is, does anyone know if this can be fix?? Err 1 is the message..

Have you tried these CD's in any other radios to see if they work there? When I had my stock deck I played CD's made with nero all the time.

hmmm mine plays burned audio cds , but not burned mp3 cds.

I used to play burned CD's in my stock unit -  ... what burner did you use? If it doesn't have burnproof, you might be making coasters. Also, try getting higher rated CD-R's

well it must be the cdr then..i got a stack of free Maxell cdr..my stereo played other type of cdr, like Imagine or something like that..but i guess it hates Maxell, my gf's aftermarket unit plays it fine..

don't use the cheap ones, where the cd looks yellowish, use something that looks greenish, like fuji...

no it doesnt play mp3s your burner is just converting them when you burn them. go put 8 full cds on one cdr and see how well stock plays it.
