Wow, back to my roots with the Celica smile. I present my new Overlay for the headlights. It's been over 2 years since I did my last headlight overlay, maybe longer. Okay lets cut to the chase. I wanted something different, something that took the hood line and brought down in a nice manner to the bottom of the headlight. This is a 1 piece kit! This is also the prototype, and I've provided pics at the bottom showing the revisions for the final Overlay. I hope you like it, if not, you still have 7 more to choose from wink. Enjoy!

Revisions for productions Overlay:

Overlay will match up with hoodline and continue it.

[Linked Image from bluebatmobile.com]

Overlay will be cut back a bit to match up with edge of projector lamp. Also, corner will be slightly rounded so overlay does not appear to end abrubtly.

[Linked Image from bluebatmobile.com]

Lower half will be narrower to give it a more streamlined look. More pics up soon wink.

The Overlay is available now if anyone is interested. Revisions are subtle as you can see, so I don't plan on reapplying the kit on the test car at this time wink.

I do plan on attending the meet on the 17th of this month. If anyone's interested in it, email me with the color you want, and I'll bring it along with me thumbsup

Bat,

Would you accept sketches/photoshops of custom vinyls that I or someone else may make as a reference for a new vinyl?

Not saying that you would have to make it or anything, but possibly a way to have people send you ideas that you may or may not like and wish to put into mass production.

And by vinyls, I don't mean flames, penises, or jap crap that no one can read, but rather headlight covers, tail light covers, etc.

I think they would look and flow better if the section above the low beam light would be convexly shaped to flow better with the hoodline, rather than a straight line cutting the headlight in half. Not really sure i like the style...but i like your others!

I knew this design might not please everyone, but it was one I wanted to do for a while now. I like it, and it's available to those that wish to get it. Can't wait to see it on other colors smile.

I think it flows well. If you check it out from hood level, it flows with the lines on the hood that come inward before the hood squares off. thumbsup

I'm going to be uploading my pictures soon.

BTW, i'm gonna try to make it out to Chino on Sunday. No guarantees, but i'll try. wave
