-pat I agree, the g35 is like the best of both worlds. The Z is stricly sport. Whereas the G35 is sporty, yet luxury at the same time. And you have a back seat on top of it.

The 2dr G35 is the shit. 350Z is nice too. I don't like the 4dr G35. They have the same motor both the same to me just in a different form.

I like 350z Better than G35. One thing I dont like about 350 is that its only a 2 seater. G35 coupe on the other hand is like the celi Still cant decide which I would buy if I had money.

I looked at the G35 before I decided on my Celica and I didn't even consider it for a second. In my opinion the G35 didn't compare in looks I thought it was much too fat and round on the rear and not sporty enough. As for the engine I'm sure it goes probably better than the Celica but nothing comes close in looks and I do love how it drives.

I like he G35 in terms of a four-seater sedan. Anyone who says it's the best of both worlds has never driven a Z though. The G35 handles like a MUCH larger car. Still awesome compared to other cars in its class, though.

Its very sporty/sexy AND gives great gas mileage. I do like the G35 above the Z (I'd never consider a Z). But, maybe, a G35.

Love the G. 295 HP in the 2005 6MT in December!! Plus Greddy makes a twin turbo kit for it! I'd take the G any day of the week.

I love the g35 and I probably would have gotten one if I could get one in a 6speed but they had a long wait. I also drove the z and it looked cheap on the inside also the gears were notchy.

Is the IS300 in the same category as these 2 cars? It costs just about as much to.

G35s only look good with the pea soup green color, that I can't seem to find anymore. Anybody know what i'm talking about? 350Z wins this time.

It's a beautiful car. I love the shape of it but the front headlights gotta go. It does not flow with the rest of the car at all.

OK I have to chime in here on this one since I lost my celi that I loved so much I needed to get a new car. I started out wanting the z and the z only, I went to do the test drive ( Nissan would not let me drive it off the lot but 1 mile away the dealer let me drive for a few miles then changed seats and she drove it back then we played the how much game and heres what I learned. i liked how the car sounded when driving and how tight everything felt it was like my celi but more nimble and a lot more TQ. I did not like how nissan makes you feel in the service area and in the sales area, they are just like the toyota dealer all numbers and no customer service but I do like the car. So I want to think about it for a week then Ill buy. Then as I leave the dealership there is a Infiniti dealer 3 doors down so drive over and park and look inside a g and like what I see looks verry nice and clean inside all gauges in the right spot and dealer walks up and offers a test drive and hands me the keys and makes a copy of my DL and says just bring it back when your done. 45 min later I come back and he asked me what I thought and I said are the 6spd's a lot faster and he said you tell me and tossed me another set of keys and have fun! 45 min later Im back and and priced it out. I ended up getting the G. The choice is going to be diff for every one but the reasons I went with the G is Its a lot more quiet inside the car, the seats are better, the inside of the z has been built by Rubermaid I swear ther is more plastic inside of a z than a dodge neon and for the money its cheap. The G with a set of springs handles like the z and rides better all the time. If you like the way you get treated at the Toyota dealer and like the celi but want more power and a cheap inside then get the Z. If you want to step up to anothe level of car and yes is will feel luxury most of the time and until you push the car and wanted to be treated with the most respect that is usaly for the wealthy then the G is the car for you. SR71 celi R.I.P Helo G35 coupe Mods 5% limo tint Eibach springs 1.1 drop Skyline badge swap Volk GTC's in GM 20x8.5 front with Nitto 555's 245/35 20 Volk GTC's in GM 20x9.5 rear with Nitto 555's 275/30 20 Infiniti- Aint nothin but a G thang

The Z will be better than the G for performance. Just on your facts alone. I have seen new Z's with nitrous and turbos. No G35's I wonder why. The rubbermaid interior for the Z, like you said. What does that say to a Celica owner. I have driven and seen both side by side. Then a Celica's interior is cheaper than, dare I say, an early 80's Corolla. I will be the first to say a Celica doesn't even compare to a Z in every way. Imagine how a G35 must feel? I know - do you?

I have seen new Z's with nitrous and turbos. No G35's I wonder why?
There as many super chargers and turbo's for the G as the z because most of the will work on both cars, I also know of 7 G's running FI. The rubbermaid interior for the Z, like you said. What does that say to a Celica owner. That the celi has a better interior ie. doors, center con and type of plastic and colors used.
I have driven and seen both side by side. Then a Celica's interior is cheaper than, dare I say, an early 80's Corolla. I will be the first to say a Celica doesn't even compare to a Z in every way. Imagine how a G35 must feel? I know - do you? Yes I do I have had both cars
