You're way to young for a family car (ugly-ass four door, fast or not) get the GTS back. She's been waiting patiently for ya.

I'd say get the celi back...but think about it...you're asking a celica forum... rofl

Your celi is one of the nicer ones i've seen...i think i saw it on ebay a while ago if i'm not mistaken and i was just like WOW. Get that and make it fast(er)...it's already way sexier than anything subaru can offer... thumbsup

Celica faster than STi...not easy. Soooo much easier said than done. Frankly, I think he should take all the money he has and go buy a GTO or a Cadillac CTS-V. Then again...who knows?

I'd say take your Celi over the WRX. If you can get an STi, it might be worth it for the performance... but I would certainly rather have the GTS than the WRX.

I'd say go Celi, save for a turbo. I think it's a lot cooler to have a car that people dont expect to be fast aka a turbo celi, rather than an STi which everyone knows comes fast as hell stock.

the reason is this
my dad took the loan for my celica right
when he got the wrx, it was on the same loan...
if i want an sti, i gotta come up with the differene...which is about 9 grand right now
there's no way i can make that and he said he would help or something...but it's pointless because i would need to make money off of my wrx, so i need to sell it with the parts on it (which i could swap onto an sti) but then with that..i would basically be starting all over on the sti and lost once again..close to 5 grand.

now, my dad really wants me to get a tC...to once again have a toyota and make it nice to show customers and be a dealer car...like my celica
but i want my celica over a tC...everything i had done to it is there and such..

i could swap for a tC or my celica...both the same price and my wrx is worth exactly the same, a little more i think, so money isn't an issue, the loan would still be good

i agree on me changing my mind so much, i've been through a lot and basically...was selfish and spoiled if you want to say.
i would really like an sti, but i don't think it will work...
and i know i could mod my wrx much more..with it costing a lot and i don't have the time as much as i did when i was younger...i love the wrx...and the reason i wanted it was because it was fast, but i figured i don't race, i'm not going to race ever, so there's no point for a super fast car, even though having one is nice
plus, black paint is too hard to take care of, bad choice..looks good, but aiye

i can sell the parts from my wrx and get money back
get the celica back and mod it the way i wanted to..with a lot already done
i want to do more TRD parts and be a dealer car again, even though the celica will be discontinued

either way, once the car is paid off, i can choose something else and by then i'll be in college
another reason i got subaru was because it has fou doors and i was lugging my friends around all the time...hated it in celica, i don't do it anymore, since they will be getting their licenses and i just don't want to...

i'm sorry for any hassles i caused on here and if anybody hates me for any reason, i understand your points and i myself understand my own actions
i think the celica is the best choice right now

what they need to do is make a nice turbo kit for the tC...in japan, there is one that boosts it to like 205 hp on the tC and 150 on the xA and xB
except that's in japan, they need to bring one here

u said it bro, you dont really use speed anymore. if you have speed, ur always gonna push it more. since you dont need speed, celica is a great choice. looks fast, but isnt fast. it is fast enough to get you going. you said you dont need 4 doors anymore. plus once you grow up, you wont really be picking up a lot of ppl in ur car, cz everyone will have their car. like someone tells me, if you get a car, get a 2 seater so noone will fight over, and ull only carry ur bitch or ur girl with u.
if you still like the way the celica looks, then get it. sti is just a faster wrx, it doesnt look as good as the celica. good luck with the choice.

^i agree
sti looks much better than wrx imo and the features it has is amazing

but celica is what i had...it's what i put all my money and effort into...and i think that i hasn't been sold all this time just because this was meant to happen

and the celica...i just love it, first car i ever wanted, had a lot of potential

and yea about the four door thing, i could care less...i don't like lugging people around cause no one has respect for something worth something to you

and everyone i know likes the celica

ok now go back and get ur celica.
seriously though, thats wut you want. you still love it, it still looks good, it still grabs attention, you spent a lot of time on it, its ur first car, its the car you always wanted before you has a license probably.
u cant really go wrong with a celica. it looks great, all the stuffs you want is already on it, and its a great first car. looks exotic, performs well enough, wut else you want? its the perfect package, nothing can be perfect so if thers anything you dont really like too bad thats life.

ive been in the same situation as you have man, where as you can get the car you REALLY WANT but you have to stretch your funds so far it straps you...suggestion is dont do it man, will make you a gigantic stress ball and you'll be pissed because all your money goes to a payment instead of modding your car...i say get your celica back, to be honest with its damn near the best looking celi ive ever seen...by the way what does "dealer car" mean?...good luck with the choice man, hope the info helped...peace

I know the situation with changing your mind about cars at your age. I had the EXACT same thing happen. My first car was a 2 seat convertible. It was god awful, because I was the first person I knew with a license... so nobody else could drive, and I only had room for 1 person. I got so sick of that, I decided to get a 4 seater (Celica). Of course by that time, everyone else could drive. Now everyone has a car, and I have no need for a backseat... and I'm now selling the Celica for another 2 seater.

It sounds stupid to people, but the reality is that if you have the means to do all this, there is no point in driving a $20-25k car you don't want. Just be sure this time, because you do loose SOME money whenever you switch cars... you won't be able to keep changing your mind forever.

You're very fortunate to be in a situation where there are so many options available to you... take advantage while you can, and really make sure you're behind the wheel of a car you want this time. Even if that means waiting a while so you can save for it.

I don't think HP is the issue with the xB. I think the problem is wind resistance. I'm pretty sure a giant box can't travel past 65mph. rofl
