I was looking at the black background but I thought it looked a little hard to see the numbers during the day. The silver/black actually looks really nice in person, the silver isn't so bright as in the pic, the flash makes it really bright lookin. I'm very happy with them except the turn signals and the high beams lights are just whitish/amber. I have to get some little bulb covers to change them!
not really. It was a little time consuming but what good mod isn't. It only took a little longer cause I had to test it several time. Ended up being two bad LED's. But the kit came with a few extra LED's just for that purpose.
I don't have any soldering experience and I did pretty well, not very hard using the install guide on this site!
it looks brighter in the pic. Especially pic #3 cause my headlights were off... you know... when you turn the headlights on that section dims along with the radio and heat/AC controls.
^^^ yeah it looked pretty cool when they were clear cause the light only came out the end of the needle but it was hard to see at a glance and really hard during the day!

^^^ yeah, I changed the headlight one too but I might take it out because it comes on full strength and is brighter than anything else on the dash. On a trip it might get distracting, it also isn't affected by the dimmer so it's always super bright!
I used model paint I bought at a local hobby shop. I used so little I have an entire bottle left with nothing to do with it... It went on the sides of the needles too but I took a wet Q-tip and just rubbed lightly on the sides and the paint came right off.
well it depends what gauges you buy. I bought the silver/black which will shine whatever color you change the LED's to. I went with blue cause my Sony deck has a "blackout front" with only two blue buttons on the corners which match the blue LED's perfectly!
Some of the gauges are colored though, like the black/blue etc.

If you're using the stock gauge face, you can't change the color of the speedo or tach, unless you go through the painstaking process of using an exacto knife to scrape away all of the orange lines and numbers one at a time. I'd glady pay $50 to get a new face that will still look good (insteady of bumpy edges on everything that was scraped off), and still have the original gauges intact if I ever wanna sell the car. Oh wait a minute, I did do that.

oh and zero i mite finish the install after my break do to the fact that the gator grip messed up the bolt even more im returning that shit tomorow. im going to have to go to school and use the impact gun and see if that works, if that fails then i have to cut it. but im sure you wont have that problem if you follow my guide wen i finish writhing it, so check back in a week or 2 aiite bro later

hey bro how does 7000rpm look like with the light turned on? does it look as bad as in the pic or worst? do you think theres anyway to fix that by maybe gluing a plastic on the circuit board between the two LEDs so light dont mix with each other?
does anyone know what voltage the leds are for the lcd panel? or a direct link to purchase the smt leds? possibly a link that works thanks for your help guys!!

Well you first have to remove the old orange paint with rubbing alcohol. Then I just used a Q-tip to apply the paint. It only goes on the bottom of the needle. It's hard to keep it just on the bottom but don't worry, you can just rub the sides clean once it has dried a bit.
If it gets totally screwed in your opinion, just rub it off again and give it another shot!
