Well as a lot of you know i wrecked my beautiful celica gts  (kit and rims and all the good stuff) thanxs to two street racers.. ( https://celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f_1870252030_0_collapsed_5__1.html ) but I now have an 04 Subaru Wrx... its aspen white 5 speed and gorgeous, ill take pics later. But dont get me wrong, I LOVE the car, but its just not my celica.. I miss it so much!! But I guess the modding will just have to continue, the wrx will be bad...

yes i got a 24500 $$ Wrx.. its gorgeous, and has an awesome paint color on it! It handles hella better than the celica, rides better and will pin you in the seat like nothing.. i love the car i really do. but i still miss the celica, that thing got me into so much trouble (tickets, going out to race and lying about where i will be and ect ect) but i still miss that damn car... guess i bonded with it... lord only knows

congrats on getting a new WRX! My buddy just got an STi 2 days ago, and he wanted to race...lol what a crazy guy he is, because he knows he gonna hella hella hella hella smoke me!, but anyways congrats!

grats on your wrx
awd turbo's are completely different than a n/a fwd 4 cylinder.
you did a complete 180.
the potential of the wrx is very nice. I'd suggest grabbing a ecu reflash and a catless exhaust +mbc to start off, should make the wrx just a tad faster in a straight line than your gts was, and best part is if you shop around you can get it all for under 1500 or so!
another thing to remember in an awd car, they usually get heavy understeer at corner entries, and if you take any corner in at a reasonably fast speed you will hear tire squeel, its normal and dont panic and throttle off, it causes your line to go to hell.

congrats!! WRX is VERY fast at stage 2, huge step up from a gts celica but the celica still handled better than the suby imo and don't worry about tire squeel like illusive said...i had mine squeel all the time WRX is def awesome
