Does anybody have any pictures of our car with either suicide or lambo style door conversions?
Lambo has gotten so common that I'm thinking to go with suicide, but I'm having trouble visualizing, so any pics would help.
Also, has anybody had (or know somebody who had) a particularly good or terrible experience with either one of these? Just so I know what to expect.

Ahem. I asked for personal experiences or pictures on either/or. I'm not looking for drama, or name calling. Your personal opinion on the "humiliation" of the celica community is your own opinion, and while I'm sure you share it with others, it's not mine and it's not relevant to this post.
So I'm sure there are a million other people you can go insult for no reason whatsoever.

That's the only thing I've seen them on (and I think once on a BMW), that's why I was asking for pictures. To get an idea of what they'd look like.

preach on michellita. it's your car, do as you damn well please. i know the auto-loc site might have some customer car pics, or decah. decah has a sweet gunmetal celica with lambo doors. and detail pics. I like suicide, its just a pain in the ass to move all the wiring and hinges from front to back. lots of cutting and welding and grinding and painting. the lambo seems to be a bit easier on the wallet overall costs wise. i could be wrong. I've always been wary of "bolt on kits" "no modification required!" promises.

I've got some hot pics of my VDC in my profile, and can send you more if you want. The only place I know of where these doors are played out is in socal. But that is inevitable. The more popular something becomes, the cheaper and more accesible it will become.
As for suicide doors, if it could be done, it would cost you a pretty couple of pennies. Major custom modification would be involved; you'd have to move the latch to the front, figure out how to bolt and hinge all that weight to the back of the door frame, etc.
If you could get it done, that would be cool. Gull wing doors seem slightly more impossible, but again, would be cool if it could be done. It might not look all that cool, but that is opinion, and getting it done would be an accomplishment.
Anyways, good luck and have fun modding!

Id go suicide. Personally I dont realy car for the door kits, but i do think they can look good especially with show quality celica. Everybody has their own taste and you guys shouldnt be so critical of what someone likes.

in our post "fast and furious" times, you see the same thing over and over, this is something different. so for trying to stand out over the vast sea of honda's and etc... Sure it's not everyone's taste, but being different and making your car you is what tuning is all about. at least it is to me. lambo doors and suicide doors, not in my plans for my car. but they do look different, and pretty sweet.

the celica just looks made to have lambos i agree...just the shape of the car...not made for suicides...i think suicides would be very very unique, yes...but not really 'fitting' on a celi. Sure 'lots' of people have lambo doors. But honestly think about it...How many people on Ecelica have lambo doors? And consider that Ecelica is about the best and/or largest celica forum in the country. On here you might not feel so special...but this is a club of a lot of the best celica's in the country. To 99.9% of the people who see your car...you will look like the coolest guy around.

I know its not feasible to do,what with the way the frame is built, but I would like to see a Celi w/ lambos and suicides. Do tiny suicide rear doors, similar to the RX-8,and then lambo front doors...i think it'd look hot
In parkour, no one is afraid. One is just...apprehensive.

yeah i mean shit...besides my taillights, exhaust, and vizage kit...my car is stock...and i think it looks nice...but it's nothing special...ESPECIALLY when you look at everyone else's awesome celi's on here. But in my area...I'm the only one like it...and everyone thinks my car is just soooooooooooo cool. Hopefully they never find ecelica and figure out my car is next to dirt
