isn't it the same, regardless of gt or gts??

you should be able to fit the trd without a problem.

well you couldn't buy a GTS short shifter and replace it in the GT.. that wouldn't work

yes they will fit either a GT/GTS because the B&M and the TWM are just replacements of the shifting rod...not the whole entire shift gate i.e. TRD's kit...

www.twmperformance.com [twmperformance.com] has an install guide for it and you will see what it is...
It will fit don't worry.

actually if you want the thing is that the TRD comes with the entire housing...the housing is what doesn't fit...

If you wanted you could just take out the shift rod and replace that.

but i recommend the TWM. short, crisp throws.~! thumbsup

man...short shifters will loosen up over time...does that mean NO GOOD?
what you gonna do when it happens? take the car to Toyota dealer and tell them to tighten it?

TWM is going to have the shortest, hardest throw...more prone to misshifting

B&M has a medium throw that is smooth, not as hard = slightly prone to misshifts...rarely

TRD has the longest of the three and is the smoothest and is an inch shorter than stock.

B&M is probably the best IMO and that's what I am getting.

I have got a b&m short throw on mine and I love it. It feels very similar to my friends trd shifter on his gts. Very durable construction.

loosen over time?

beyond the natural wear of the shift linkages and the internal spring that gives tension to the shifter, nothing else really gets "loose", and the 2 i mentioned will loosen over time even with a stock shifter...

yes we already mentioned you can do that. You have to take out the shifting rod on the TRD shifter set and replace the stock rod with it. You do NOT replace the whole shifting linkage and unit.

i just installed my b&m today...i wouldn't imagine the twm would be any different and the b&m was very simple. me and a couple of friends took about 2 hours to do it (and we had no previous mechanical experience whatsoever with my car) thumbsup
