Heres a few pics of the colors I thought looked best for the black celica. If you notice, the front bar I aimed toward the fans of the engine rather then to the bottom of the car. I previously had the front bar shining beneath the car like most underglows but it looked too short, so I moved it and thought it looked better where you see it shining in the pics. Since I angled the front bar, when I open my hood the light even shows through some of my engine compartment. The lower half of my engine and around my engine glow in the color that is on. There are 14 different modes with 9 different strobe modes with 11 speeds for each mode!! www.plasmaglow.com [plasmaglow.com] Pic 1:
Tommorow during the day time I will cover the back side of the front bar with black tape so you dont see the individual leds (like the purple one for instance). It will take 5 minutes and you wont see a single L.E.D. around the car... Thats all of em
does it cover the whole side of the car I can't tell , are there any " hot spots" ?
The bar was a few inches short from covering the Entire side. If you were to put the bar in the middle of the side skirts you would have about 2 inches gap on each side that wouldnt glow.
Its an even glow. What Im saying is that the bar is a little shorter in length then what the side skirts are. If your looking for really bright glow that goes all the way around, everywhere then id recommend the streetglow gold series. But then your limited.. I liked this one because of the functions and different colors. I didnt need it incredibly bright either.
so Street glow is the best when it comes to that eh? I know my cousion has the Gold Serise on his Trans Am which by the way is now at about 500 hp its nice.
that was the first kit i looked into. i like the different modes and color choices. the only problem is the price (and their website is a little shady). that's why i looked at the streetglow kit. not as much funcionality, but i only really want one color. i think the blue looks the best.
looks good... hows the brightness under normal lights (streetlights) are they pretty much visible or is the ocasional person walkin down the street not even gunna notice them?
