Any additional information: I had a CEL, not related to the intake, found vacuum hose from intake to the throttle body had collapsed. Replaced hose, CEL gone.

ADDITIONAL INFO: just cus its an ebay intake doesnt mean a thing!! same thing as the AEM gen.1 except i dont have the AEM sticker! i doubt it has the same gains though just by looking at your pic diamiter alone is an issue(yours is smaller)

The only thing keeping me from getting a intake is the issue of CEL's. I just don't want to have to deal with them. I want to get a Injen SRI, the polished one with red hoses. But like I said, I don't want to deal with CEL's, and wondering if it's the intake or something else wrong with the engine.

Any additional information: I've found a pattern when I get the CEL. When I drive without warming up 2 lines, straight on the highway and cruise in 6th, after 2-3 minutes the CEL comes on. It usually goes away after 1-3 days by itself.

INTAKE: I tried both (CAI & SRI) to see which one I liked the best. I would have to say that AEM gives out better performance but I luv the sound that Injen gives out.

Any additional information: I still have the CEL ON. Ive done everything that everyone has suggested and its still ON. Even took it to the dealership and they removed the CEL for a couple of weeks and then it came back to haunt me. However, some members have mentioned some stuff on this tread that I havent tried before. Maybe I will try what they mentioned this weekend.

Any additional information: Self installed it, made sure to be careful with the MAF sensor and battery disconnecting and everything so that I didn't confuse the ECU.

Any additional information:If you install it corectly and disconnect the battery you shouldnt have any problems. I also have never had any bogging problems that people say associate with a Injen CAI.

Any additional information:Love it. the Gen 2 maf placement sux. to clean the maf you damn near have to uninstall the intake. not to ool for people with the power fc that have to clean their maf all the time.

INSTALLED SINCE/HOW LONG: ummm almost 2 mo.
EVER HAD A CEL DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE INTAKE?: Yes.
Took it to a dealer and it was making my car run lean. Im on my way to take it to another shop to see if I installed it wrong.

EVER HAD A CEL DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE INTAKE?: NO Any additional information: The CAI sounded sweet as hell, nice deep rumble came from the car when I floored it ,and it is still there. I love this CAI and wouldn't go any other way.
