today i went to chill at my friends house and i parked across the street from his house. he lived by a local community college and theres always a fight for parking spots. when i came outside, i was trapped between a f150 which was a few inches away and another ford which was touching my rear bumper. we had to take my friends car out for dinner and when i got back the f150 was gone so i could leave.

thats not cool at all ...sorry to hear i know this isn't the case, but have you ever had to crawl through your trunk hatch to get into your car because the vehicles next to you parked so close that you couldn't even get your key in the door???

^^^ I've never had to do that with the Celi. It happened in my last rental though (Chevy Colorado). I parked in a compact spot in an empty area... when I came out, there were cars on both sides and NO room left to get in. I had to get in the bed, open the door a crack, roll down the window, then go in through it.
I'm just a crosshair I'm just a shot away from you

People with trucks (BIG ONES Such as the F150) should be taught how to drive AND PARK... NOT ALL, but many who buy these (for things not related to hauling) really don't care much about other people or their property

Isaac your doing it all wrong man jeez. ok from now on carry a set of socket wrenches with you. when a ass hole in a lifted truck/moron parks to close to you to the point where you need to go thru the hatch to open the door do the following. 1> move car out of spot 2>with the socket wrench in hand crawl under his car and undo the oil drain bolt. 3> while the oil is draining get in car and park a few blocks away. 4> watch the moron drive and follow her/him (usually a her) the second the motor starts to seiize up and smoke take a picture and share it with us great way to relieve stress

^^lol that's a good one. i've never had to crawl in through the hatch, but i've had to get in on the passenger side, open the moonroof so i could climb over the center console without banging my head...yea it was a mess... oh i got another good one.. 2 days ago, im at the ARCO station picking up a soda, im parked all nice and straight in my spot, and as im walking out a HUGE expedition parks next to me..im like..ok whatever. i get in my car, i START my car as the guy is getting out, and he smacks my side mirror! my windows were up, but i said really loudly "thanks ass!!" then he started walkin away! so i started backing up and he decided he forgot something, so i stop so he can get back to his driver door and right before he opens it, i start inching back again and almost doinked his ass with my mirror (i wasn't trying to...he moved!) and he gives ME a dirty look...grrrr i was sitting IN my car with the motor running and he had the nerve to smack my mirror with his door then act like nothing happened! i hate inconsiderate people. if he had looked at me and said "sorry" everything would have been fine...but nooo

this is why I park a little further away from wherever I'm at...some of my friends keep shoe polish in their cars and leave "wonderful" things on people's windshields if this happens to them.

Wouldn't that be defamation of property? I don't box people in either so it would have to be YOUR fault . try pulling into a parking lot where there are no other cars then park the passenger side of your vehicle tight next to a wall so that if people do park their car next to you, you would assume that they are going to stay in the line and will not park over it and ding your door with theirs. then after a few hours, you come back to your car and find that not only has someone parked so damn close to your car that you cannot even put your body between the vehicles - and you can forget about putting your key in the door to open it... BUT that person also bent your driver's side mirror back so that they could park even closer. The parking lot is still basically empty - so this proves that the persons INTENTIONALLY parked this way, just to fuck with you. Again, please explain how that is MY fault ...any anyone's fault other than the idiot who is playing games with you Any time someone touches my car first - just to make my life dificult... There is no reason for such childish behavior i should NOT have to crawl in through the hatch of my car - just to enter it... especially when the person that I don't even know, intentionally parks so close to me (and adjusts my mirrors in doing so) that there is no other way of getting into my vehicle.

About 2-3 days ago some homo parked his BMW X5 so close to my toyota funcargo, I had to squeeze myself inn sideways to even have a hope of getting into my car. Seeing as it wasn't my celica I was driving, I settled for breaking his side view mirror.
If it had been the celica? I would have key'ed his car aswell, for sure.
People who park all up on you for no reason what so ever deserve every filthy thing you can think of doing.
With one of my old cars that I modified and kept mint (total re-spray every year etc) I "trashed" 2 cars that some fuckheads parked all up on my side, just for the fun of it or whatever their problem was. One of them I key'ed all the way from the driver side headlight, all around his car, over to the passenger side headlight. The other, I kicked 2 big fat dents in his doors.
Try to fuck with my baby, and I *will* fuck with you!

I've had a couple of discussions (mostly with women tho) who couldn't understand why I just loose it if some one slams their door into my car or simmilar. And there's no better way to describe my reaction, than "loose it". 'Cause I do.
As I've told them, and as I will tell anyone else: to understand how I feel for my car, imagine this: You got a 5 year old son. He's out playing, doesn't hurt anyone. And out of no where, an asshole parks next to your son, and slams the door of his car open into your son's head, giving the kid a small dent in his forhead. As fucking furious as you would be about that -- THAT'S how I feel every time some retard parks close to my car. Especially if he's got his driver side door against your car, 'cause you just KNOW that in order for him to get out, he had to have had his door into your side.
And then most people go "but you're talking about a kid and a car - those are 2 compleatly different things". But then you're just missing the point. It's about how much you care for something. Be it a kid, a car, a family member, a tv, whatever. I care for my car. And people who can't respect it, deserve the treatment they get.

There is no reason for such childish behavior i should NOT have to crawl in through the hatch of my car - just to enter it... especially when the person that I don't even know, intentionally parks so close to me (and adjusts my mirrors in doing so) that there is no other way of getting into my vehicle. I still don't get why you would deface someones property. You Celica is not God either so stop acting like it is. I've been boxed in but i got over it. You should do the same. Who said anything about GOD? And who here is acting like their car is god (what does this conversation have to do with religion?) I amm glad you had been boxed in before. Maybe you should be boxed in a few more times - or have the door of your car dinged up by someone who doesnt care for your car as much as you do. But then again, it really doesnt sound like you care that much for your car Which brings me to the question, Why are you even on this website then? This website is for car ENTHUSIASTS - not people like how you present yourself to be

First off, i have had to pay like 300 dollars because of what someone did to my parked car. Do not say i don't give a damn about my car. I wash my car every Sunday morning, whether its hot cold raining or snowing. I have already spent $3,200 on upgrades for my car. Get your facts before you say anything.
PS it is not about religion, i'm saying your car is not omnipotent.
