I have heard that front sway bars do not do much on cars. Is this true on our cars? Just curious. Thanks

he's asking about the FRONT sway bar. well the idea is is that the softer the setting in front and the stiffer the setting in back promotes oversteer which is good for cornering. you would want the front sway bar to get that rigidness to the car that would help it turn in...that is why hotchkis has the front sways only 40% stiffer than stock and they have the rear at 88% stiffer.
a front sway bar and chassis is fine...just make sure your rear is stiff so that you pull your butt out when you go to a turn.

yeah there is whole hotchkis suspension set up with that race winning celica so i think i would go with hotchkiss trd doesnt seem to care for the celica much i mean they wont even give us the r & d for a turbo or supercharger or any high hp like some of the others get so i wont support them if i dont have too

On a side note; The reason TRD doesnt have the supercharger for the celica is because you need a new hood, throttle body, and belt. They would have to come up with another supercharger specifically for the celica (only for the gt because of the gts higher compression) and I cant say that it would be worth it for them. The turbos are not the most reliable on the celica so I am not sure that the warranty that people expect from TRD could be had with a turbo. I know how you feel I am just providing a reason why it wouldnt be the smartest thing for them.

TRD Front Sway: 25% stiffer TRD Adj. Rear Sway:58% stiffer Hotchkis Adj. Front Sway: 43%/70% stiffer Hotchks Street Rear Sway: 88% stiffer Hotchks Competition Rear Sway: 123% stiffer i have hotchkis and over bumpy roads i feel like my back is gonna crack...but my car feels and corners like a go-kart!
