alright guys I just got 4 more cans of that tinting shit and i can get the clear coat at western auto right down the road so...basically as soon as ur tails arrive i can start on them...

yeah sure...I was going to actually tint my side markers and sell them as soon as i get the clear jdm ones from kyle's group buy...i dunno how much really...$10+shipping i guess...which shouldn't be more than 2 or 3 bucks i wouldn't think. Unless you're sending me ur tails too then i'll just throw em in the same box.

I thinking about sending you my Jdm amber side markers for some tinting.. If so how much would that run me..?

How hard would it be for you to smoke out the headlights? Do you think it'd be too dark if you did?

meh...I'd rather not smoke out the headlights. I could perhaps only do a thin layer so it wouldn't be as dark as the tails...but I don't know how hot the headlights get if they get hotter than the tails etc...I'm not sure if the tint would lose its integrity or not. well and you would have to go without headlights for a while...

Yeah, I thought about the whole "no headlights" thing after I posted. I might get bats smoked h5 overlay instead.

Yeah that's what i would recommend personally...OR paint the insides...both look great...

if i get these taillights from this other guy hopefully in a couple of days, im gonna send the tail lights to you to get them darkened!!!!

so with this tint, will it get crappy within months or is it good for a while? will they bubble up or will they actually hold its own for a while? is there anything that could go wrong with it??? also i'll have him send the lights to you like you previously said, and then have you mail them to me after your done...

They shouldn't get shitty...i've had mine for like 8 or 9 months and I can't notice a difference. Some guys said it can flake off but that's if you don't prep the surface of the taillight right. I do or at least i think i do and if it would have flaked off i think it would have done it by now...

Alright here's some pics man. They are both using flash...I decided to use that so you could see everything better...but it also makes them appear lighter. They're just as dark as mine and Billy's.

The first pic is right up at the light...and with the flash you can notice the really small spots where dust fell in the paint...but i mean honestly if your face is a foot away or more you won't see it...as you can see in the pics:

Can anyone tell me how long is it going to take from the day you guys ship out your tails until you get your tails back?

ioric18- For example...6spdCeliGTS shipped his tails from NC on wednesday...I got them in PA on Friday...and since it was the weekend i got them done friday night...let them dry for a day and I shipped them out today. So it should take two business days for him to get it. So it should take like 4-5 business days from the time you sent them until the time you get them back completed. Unless i have a lot to do or i have to order more supplies...then it will just be a few more days. It's really not long at all as you can see

I dunno man I shipped them thursday at 3pm 2-day ground...so they should have been there this afternoon...but maybe it didn't get out til friday...
