Hey guys i got good feedback when i posted pics of my tails...so I decided i'm gonna do this for you guys. If you want me to purchase the stock tails for you and black them out, the price is $90 shipped give or take $5 depending on the price i get them. OR if you ship me stock taillights, I'll tint them and mail them back for you for $40 plus shipping. Sidemarkers are $15 plus shipping. I use three coats of automotive taillight tint and 2 coats of automotive quality clear coat, wetsanded between coats as i see necessary.

What i personally recommend is...if you want me to get you tinted tails and you dont have stock ones...find some guys selling their stock ones...and instead of having them ship it to you, have them ship it to me at:

This way you guys save on shipping...and you can bargain for your own prices while my tinting cost stays constant. Of course if you don't want to do this then i'll try to find some for you and you're sorta stuck with whatever reasonable price i can find.

i might be interested. how does the signals look and the brake light

They light up pretty bright. I have had mine done for 8 months and no cop trouble...even when they were right behind me...

I just looked and i can't believe i deleted the pics i took of them on...but they didn't get good anyway because it was at night. I can take some tomorrow night if you're that interested...But I was really suprised myself how bright they are even being so tinted.

That looks nice...how do you put those on? Can you get it for cheaper too?...$90 is kind of a lot.

I use special tinting coating that's made for taillights and stuff. It costs me around $11 to get that stuff because i have to order it online and have it shipped to me...and then i need to get stock tails from guys and most guys want $50 plus shipping and taking up my time covering up the back of the taillight and the reverse section and coating them a few times...wetsanding if there's any rough spots on the tails to begin with...cleaning em up and shippin em to ya...I end up getting ~$15 profit...for a few hours of work...hell i should just stick with my job


of course as with everything if i can get the tails cheaper...that's the only place where i could really save any money...

could you do touch up work on my tails? some mother fucker keyed mine so there are white marks on them...???

yeah probably. I'm a little skeptical because if i just touch up one area...there's a chance that it might end up lighter or darker in the region where i touch it up ya know. So if you are looking for a really good finish then i would have to sand it all down far enough so it is all even.

cool. Um i guess you could drive around without your tails for a while...lol...just tape it off with masking tape . If that's your case...let me know and i'll do them the day i get them and ship them out the next day. I mean...you still have a brakelight...and just use your arm for the turning signs

If that's your situation maybe you should try to buy some stockers from one of the guys i lsited above and have me black them out...and then sell your stock ones. I might even buy them back if i have orders

I think once you take them out you (or I) will be able to get it out. I dunno i might have to charge extra for that lol.

lol, yeah i have no idea how a bee got in my tail light but...there is one in there . If i can't get him out, you'll see him when you tint them. I have heard/seen pics of bugs and stuff in the headlights, but I have the first bee in the tail light that i know of. Maybe I should leave him, he can be an original mod...

I mean honestly i didn't see anyone with blackout tails like this when i got mine and that was like 9 months ago or somethin. lol. even though i'm sure there were plenty of guys out there...i didnt know about them. But anyway i guess if anything i'm glad people like the style...and it's a way for me to earn a few bucks to work on my upcoming projects Sorry you aren't original anymore. But look at it this way: how many people on EC have tinted tails so far? and out of those, how many live within 100 miles from you? Thats what i keep tellin myself

this is true...i remember making thread trying to figure out how to get black tails...they showed me blue bat but I wanted darker...came across a member on another site and he told me about them and got them...to this day you are the only other person i have seen with black tails...and its been well over a year...good luck with it

BTW i might ask you to redo mine considering they have a white line in them...but i dont want to pay $40 right now...

Sorry to take that from ya man...but my conscious is easily swayed by the promise of more $$$. I'm tryin to save up money to get an intake, and fiberglass working supplies so i can learn how to build my own custom trunk enclosure

But anyway...your car is very unique as it is so i don't think you should be disappointed

Sure i could do the whole thing including the reverse light. That would save me a lot of time actually...cuz i spend a good amount of time making sure i tape off that section perfectly to get it to match and look professional. I would actually prefer that for my own sake
