Hi, Folks

I have modeled a new style of the interior headlight trim with a similar look to the dual-projector headlights that I build but at a fraction of the expense. This trim piece is a direct replacement for the clear plastic piece that many Celica owners have to great effect painted to match the color of their car. The installation of this piece requires that the headlight be cooked open and the turn signal reflector trimmed slightly to install. What I would like to know if there is much interest in this mod for the Celica? If there is demand for this item I will consider producing them in prime so you can decide what color you wish to paint them. For now Im posting the pic below and the following link. LINK [valentino.ms]
As soon as I get a pair of these on someones Celica, I will post pics of them so you can get a better idea of what they look like. All constructive input is welcome. So let me know what you think.

Thanks for your time, thumbsup

Actually all of the lights stay the same. This part is just a trim piece to give the headlight a look similar to the dual projector headlight.

In order to make it worth my while, the price would have to be around $275 for the pair primed and ready for paint. thumbsup

This pic is from the ECelica gallery. Keep in mind that Celica in this pic has dual projector headlights and not he insert shown at the beginning of this thread.

Very nice. One question I have though. Is Does it hurt the headlight to not be protected or is there some type of clear plastic that protects it like the original one did. I would consider buying it if it doesn't affect the headlight in rain, sleet, snow you know the harsher elements. Thanks

I think you will still have the clear outside plastic cover that protects the lights, you will only have to replace the clear plastic trim that many people paint which is inside the actual headlight.

Like vaio23 replied, you will still have a sealed headlight complete with the original outer lens. The only part that is being replaced is the internal clear plastic trim. If you were asking about the dual projector headlight shown in my sig, the projectors are sealed units but a big rock could destroy the glass lenses if they take a direct hit.

It is unlikely that you would be able to get anything in there. The Inside of the headlight does not have much vertical space.

There would be no chance of getting anything better than the stock high beam in there.
