i've never seen a carbon fiber heat shield that retailed. every one i've seen has been a custom job..at least those are the ones that i've seen.
you can buy universal heat shields though for like $10 on ebay and some other autosport websites. does the same job, you just don't get the name

are you all talking about mine If this is what you were talking about, its an RMM heatshield (dont know how much it costs alone, came as kit with intake) but i am sure you can email rmm to buy it seperatly. Then i took some carbon fiber and overlayed it onto the heatshield. I have never seen one premade for sale. Come to think of it i havent seen another carbon fiber heatshield in a celica. if someone else has post some pics

well, if you want to get technical, it should be in engine mods, but this also still being an exterior mod, i dont necessarily see a problem...but whatever no beef here...anyway, thanks for all the input

right true it is a part of the exterior of your car but... if you read the descriptions on the forum lists youll see that under exterior is for "Aero parts and exterior appearance modifications, (body kits, wheels, lighting, paint, graphics, etc)" while the Engine forum is for "Anything to make your car go faster or handle better (Engine, Exhaust, Suspension, Tires ...etc)" and Im just letting you know so that you can better utilize the great ecelica site. and don't sweat it for everyone here has had some screw ups here and there. but now back to your question you can get one off of ebay for like 12 bucks, but seeing how the heat shields are just a piece of metal i doubt that it'll make a diff. between the diff. costs.
