I have a white celica, and im looking for some rims, i was thinkin white, but white on white might not look so good, i was also thinkin black, but sometimes black rims on a white car just dont mix, and the rims look like the wheel underneath the hubcap on white celicas, i was thinkin maybe black rims painted white on the inside or chrome rims with painted black on the inside of the rim, any suggestions, oh and if you have pics of white celicas with white or painted rims, please post

white on white is too white thumbsdown

i don't like black rims on white either but everybody in here is going to tell you thats what you should get.

personally i think your best bet would be getting some gunmetal colored rims or gunmetal with a polished silver lip thumbsup

that's why i went with chrome... white would be too much... black would be ugly (especially with the dark blue stripe on my car)... gunmetal is just like black... and silver is too blah for me

if you do white on white, just make sure your spokes are thin (not fat) and you have at least 17" rims.

i prefer my black/silver rims but gunmetal is really nice with white cars.

i think you should have some contrast instead of going all white. gunmetal with a polished lip, or even plain silver (with a nice wheel), is what i'd go with.

The "Monochromatic" (white on white or black on black etc.) look is not for everyone I personally love it. But there is a drawback to wht on wht. There will not be enough contrast to make things like c/f hoods, mirrors and the like look right.

here it is now...u be the judge but it gives you two rim styles to help you better decide...also i was thinkin about the bronze...but really gold only looks good on white and the gold rims are expensive...so...

^^^ i don't really like that... maybe if there's bronze somewhere else on the car... like the black rims don't look too bad because of the carbon fiber hood... so they kinda go with it.. they would look better with a white or chrome lip though... i don't really care much for solid black...
