Celica Forums General Discussion General "EPDM" Cord?

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all in CelicaHobby.

I took off my valve cover the other day to replace the gasket and lift bolts, and when I went to move the ignition coil wiring out of the way, a cord that originally went down the left side of the engine came up very easily, and it was not connected to anything. It has the letters "EDPM" on it, though I can't find any information on this.

Any ideas? Remarkably, with this loose cord, the ECU doesn't push a CEL, and the car drives perfect. Is this something I should worry about? If I can find out where this specific cord belongs, it'd be very helpful.

Check if any wires are missing their rubber insolation covering. Without knowing the condition/cleanliness of your engine bay, it could just be that the the heat/weather might have separated the insolation from its wires.

check your exterior vehicle lighting, fans, and pump functionality for clues, since you mentioned a loose cord.
