Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior S-AFC Questions

First can someone tell me if it helps GT's very much? How much of a HP and torque gain? Will I be able to install it myself or will I need to take it somewhere? If so, how much will it cost to install? And most important is it worth to price and are you happy with it?

I don't have it, but I was going to get it.
But not anymore cause I saw that any changes you make with the air/fuel that later on the ecu just resets it back to where it is supposed to be. I don't really know if it helps or not. I would like to know that also, but I don't think it does that much.

i got one on my gts and it did nothing at all. I mean i looks cool but thats about it. i though it would add like 10 hp but it didnt. if youve done car stuff before you can probably install it. i wouldnt buy it if i had a second chance.

A friend of mine got a S-AFC for his GT and it did nothing for it. He said he got it for a turbo which he now has and uses to kick arse.

damn, i was about to order one, glad you guys told us about it...
