Who has a carbon fiber hood & is not using hoodpins?
How long & what hood?
I'm not gonna drive that fast & I don't exactly like the way they look.
If someone can, please post a pic(s) of the location of the posts under the hood. If I have to I need a rough idea of where to start measuring.

I have the BRS hood. I did not have hood pins installed when I drove from Wyoming to California. But the hood almost came off a couple of times while I was passing other vehicles. I got them installed in the same hole as the front ruber mounts are. I do not know if that will help or not. I do not have access to pictures since my car is in California and I'm in Korea.

There are a lot of interesting thing in the gallery...
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/inst_hoodpins

BRS Hood myself, and just like any other hood with a raised scoop (even stock hood) there is play because you're getting a lot of drag running 65mph and putting resistance up front of that (just stick your hand out the window as you are doing 65mph and form your hand into a cup - now you too will feel that resistance smile

On a stock hood with raised scoop, the hood also moved around somewhat...

who else with raised scoop, going 100mph, has noticed sever shacking of the hood wave
