I hope they don't turn it into a bubble and if they change the whole design some space for things in the engine bay wouldn't hurt. Before they build a whole new redesign they should think of the aftercare as well if they plan on shooting a targeted market full of performance peeps. It should also take out in looks and be well worth every penny when bought!
Oh well even if it does turn out awesome or ugly. Their's still the beautiful 7 gen and a great amount of other gen's to fall back on! I love my 7th Gen and hope to love the future generations to come. Seems like Toyota redesigns things and ad more electronic pieces or little parts to mess with the whole layout when it comes to performance. I can name a lot of things that have been changed from the 7th gen during 2000-2003 phase that have been from manually operated to totally electronic operating systems that are more complicated to deal with. I know it's suppose to be some type of adventure dealing with these new components and breaking through these obstacles but it's just no fun when most of the modified cars that are sooped up to the fullest roll around with a check engine light all the time!
I just hope the Celica doesn't shoot for more set factory electrical components that aren't capable of easily being modified, tuned, or tampered. It'll just make it harder for us to modify or fix a problem without the dealers special computers/devices to fix it. If for
