Am I the only that is dispointed on the Jet celica? I really liked the whole idea. My celica goes like 150. Althought it takes a while to get there. I'm still pissed.  What do you guys think? There goal was only 200 mph, come on! I like Jesse James but I think he could of done better. The Rolls Royce Viper MK22 that generates 6,300 pounds of thrust.

i gotta tell you that after the long wait for this episode, it wasnt really good. reasons are:
1. celica is a beautiful car and we spend/love it so much. seeing these guys ripping and throwing every piece of it just hits us
2. after the conversion, we kinda expected the celica to look nicer, but it didnt. first of all, the stretchy look was horrible, there were no interior, the front and back were cut, and i wasnt a big fan of the paint work.
3. this car basically turned to a muscle car(especially paint job), which celica isnt and should be.
4. if they spent that much money on this show, why couldnt they try to test the speed some longer track? cz 185 doesnt sound too imaginery. i mean its sad to be 185 with a jet engine. and 185 gallon per mile for 185 mph? i prefer 32mpg for 140mph. this car didnt have any cool look at all instead it was uglier than stock.

Jeez what do all you guys expect...UR CAR IS ON TV... I thought it was cool...1. you have to gut the interior for safety 2...u have to stretch it...they didnt' make it to look cool...just to reach 200. Let me see any of you hit 185 in LESS THAN A 1/2 MILE...I DON"T THINK SO...so just enjoy it

It did look fast.  As for it being ugly & not diggin' the paint, hey to each his own. Remember, it's Monster Garage not "Queer Eye for the Race Guy."  At least Jesse James thought enough of the Celica to "Monsterize" it.
