BTW, a 1967 Ferrari 275GTB/4 (again, if you can find one) is worth about 2-2.5M tasty

I was repeating info, and agreeing with the posted stats.

either way, you'll get more ass in the ferrari than in the vette. grin

People who have to pay for cars care about what they are worth later on, because if you sink 30K into a vehicle, and you can only sell it for 10K afterwards, you lost 20K.

Yes, the vette will "kill" my celica, that wasn't the point. The point was, American cars do not have the same build quality as foreign cars, and they depreciate at a higher rate.

Ferrari's are hand built super cars. The Z06 is just a beefed up, faster more expensive Chevy. It's still going to depreciate, and it's still built from Chevy parts.

along with what was said above. think of this rule of thumb..the more rare a car is, the less the pace of depreciation (as mentioned--some cars actually appreciate given time). how many ferraris have you seen? then look at all the vettes you have seen.

more = less when it comes to getting your $$ back when your car goes up for sale.

I've seen a 360 Modena hard top, a 275 GTB/4 (in canada, I was tempted to steal it, it was on a flat bed truck being moved), I've seen an F50 in little italy, Baltimore, I've seen a 308 Dino (neighbors) I've seen a ferrari testarossa at the inniskillin vineyards (saw an Enzo there too, but it was under wraps, and I caught just a GLIMPSE so it might have been something else)

I've seen a yellow corvette hardtop, a red hard top, and a purple-ish Z06.

Ferrari > Corvette.

If you question that, you need to get your head examined. Two very different classes of cars.

yes, but still, you see how you're comparing all these cars...
no duh they are built differently, but that doesn't make them always suck.
Chevy use to be really shitty when I was younger because I saw the wear and tear on them all the time...

but now, they are much better thumbsup

and the Vette isn't truly built by chevrolet...it has it's own line of parts and everything...just chevy name on it. That's why it has it's own logo.

When one of you gets a Ferrari or a Z06 call me...

This concersation is really not that important...

When you get enough money just buy what you want...

Thats what I did...
