what are the chances of hydrolock??? also what would you say the differences between CAI and shortram ex. how many percent more??

The SR has just a slight loss of performance over the CAI, but if you're worried about hydrolocking, go for the SR

The only way you will hydrolock is if the Intake is submerged in water. Submerged.
I have driven through some huge puddles, and nothing. You will not hydrolock unless you drive into a lake. If you are worried still, you can buy a bypass valve to put on your cold air intake, but it will hinder performance slightly, and they are quite costly for what they are.

hey man where did you get that tag for ur bumper i took my moved my plate and those holes are annoying...u know wher i can get one in van? don't really like to order stuff

is it possible to take the cold air intake out after wards? like with all the cutting and that stuff with the ecu?? is it able to be stock again?

EDIT: there is a TRD one...do a search~ there should be tons of them i think

is it possible to take the cold air intake out after wards? like with all the cutting and that stuff with the ecu?? is it able to be stock again? u dont have to do any cutting or any custom work if you get the AEM 2nd Gen CAI...(i dono about injen) so to answer ur question, yes you can take the CAI off after wards and put ur stock air box or another aftermarket intake..
