Hi Guys I live in London United Kingdom acoss the pond and over here all you see is ferrai's, porches and mercedes etc.
Recently since fast and the furious came out there has been a rise in car modding, but all the people who do it are not so rich and they do up crappy cars.
I am getting my toyota celica and i have 5000 which is around $9000 to start off.

So my question is to you as i want to stand out a lot wat you think is the best way of doing this.

I was thinking of blitz front with veilside rear and sides with tanabe exhaust.

What do you guys think. I want everything for the exterior from exhaust to neons to lowering to lambo doors, everyhthing on the outside has to be modded within this price range is it possible? Please help

THANKS ALL tasty

Yeah $9k is enough. Depends what kind of parts you put on it, like expensive wheels *cough* SSR *cough* coilovers, etc. Plus whatever you remove from you car, you could always sell & use the money to keep modding the exterior of your celica.

The body kit that I think stands out the most is the Veilside full kit ( the newest one). Incredible lines and aggressive styling thumbsup

i say get kaminari body kit. it will definatly stand out, but it wont be totally crazy, then spend money on real nice LIGHTWEIGHT rims, and use your remaining money on performance mods, ie. springs, front & rear strut tower bars, front & rear sway bars, i/h/e/p, nitrous, port & polish...and the list goes on

edit: imo F&F is a gay ricer movie, and i think its dumb to just mod a car to "stand out", especially with neons, and extavigant kits...just my 2 cents

I think the Blitz front, VS2 Sides and Rear will turn a lot of heads. I'm doing Kaminari Front, WW Sides and WW Rear because of all the damn potholes and snowfall in New England. I need a more high-profile kit, especiialy if I wanna do a suspension drop soon.

VS2 or Trial is what I would do . I kindda think that Trial is a bigger attention getting then VS atleast as far as names go. Unless you have somone looking at your car who only knows Kits from what they see on T.V. EX: The VS kit on the RX7 in The First F&F.

I got this idea about the blitz and veilside mixture from you and the tanabe exhaust when looking in the gallery! I want an aggressive looking celica and i think i have made my mind up with the body kit! BUT wat next? I wanted wheels then lower it. What wheels would go well with this kit? The celica is going to be red. I wanted silver rims but i want to get rims for a gd price i don't want to go all out on rims. I think 18's would be big enough unless you think you can find some nice looking 19's for cheap anywhere. What would you recomend? i do not really care about weight as i am not a racer.

Thanks for all your help so far!!! smile

get the APR gt300 widebody kit. that is sure to attract attention and it is probably the best looking kit out there today, then you could get some rims and a turbo set up and still have some money left over to get a few more mods

a kid told me that celicas handle like crap... i laughed

get the entire trial kit. if you mix the trial pieces its gonna look really nasty. if you see a trial kit in person, it really grows on you.
