ok i got my car back from the shop today. for those that dont know, i took it there because the paint job was off a few shades. they repainted it for me (for free) and i promised pictures after it was done so here they are. i guess these are before and after pics. the new paintjob still isnt 100% accurate but trust me, its a LOT better than the last job. im very happy with it!

well the first time he was pretty much going blind. he had the color code off my door but when you type that in or whatever, like 4 silvers come up. so he just picked one at random the first time i guess. and he didnt have anything to compare it to. the gas cap is rivited in and everything. but yeah it looks good now! im glad everything worked out too

for light colors yeah. especially light colors with a lot of metalic. some reds are hard to match, si blue is kinda hard. guy was trying to explain it to me.

thanks guys, im glad everyone likes it. however my dad hates it. he says the shop did a crappy job installing it but everyone else seems to like it. he saw how the sideskirts dont fit 100% and started bitching. he thinks you can heat up the fiberglass and have it mold to the shape of the car. he doesnt know what hes talking about. he hates when i do ANY mods to it. you should of heard him when i mentioned dropping it smile but once again, thanks for all the props. this is my first car and first body kit and everything. ive been pretty happy with it so far. got a show tomorrow. im gonna enter, even tho i dont have much, i think itl be fun to see how i get judged. maybe ill get sponsered haha rofl

I was curious you said he took the paint code off your door but assuming you had the car for a while the paint code wouldn't be accurate do to the fading of your paint. I went to a shop and he said he would scan my car to get the exact color match.

ive had the car for about 8 months now. so yeah i guess the paint could fade. ive never heard of scanning a car tho. he did a good job matching it tho.
