I took my Veilside bumper to this guy who had never done body kits before, but my dad used to go to him to get his trucks painted all the time, so i knew he was good and could be trusted.
paint job is fantastic!!
fitment isnt as great..
you can see where its off a little bit by the headlight..and where they sanded it or whatever to fit better..i mean it looks really good unless you get your nose right on the bumper to look at the fitment i guess..
clear corners look great though..
it all only cost me $215 since he used to know my dad..
my front end is so much lower than the TRD..
im having second thoughts about lowering it now, since streets around here are horrible with pot holes and speed bumps and dips and all that..
should i go ahead and just get my 18's with low profile tires and sell my lowering springs?

also, the guy told me it would be best if i kept my TRD bumper, just in case something happened to my veilside, since its just fiberglass, and i'd have a backup..
would that be better than selling it and putting the money towards rims? im getting second thoughts on that now too..

opinions please!! thanks tongue

keep the TRD bumper and drive around for a while...get use to the VS and see how you like it...then you will know when to decide on what to do.

get coilovers , that way you can adjust your height. I'm looking at some Tein SS Coilovers right now .

It's always a good idea to keep a second bumper just in case, specially since its fiberlass. Plus it's good to have a "winter" bumper smile
