It seems like everyone has this problem. I'm surprised that Toyota hasn't done a recall on these. I've replaced my passenger side headlight once already, and now the new one leaks too. Why bother with getting a new one when it will just eventually do the same?

same problem here. why not just open them up and paint the inside then reseal them good. that's what i plan on doing. other than cracks or holes from rocks you most likely have bad seals.

This is a UNIVERSAL problem with the celica lamps. I'm pretty sure everyone has this problem at some time. Is cracking them open even worth it just to reseal them? Seems like a big hassle to me.

Just talked to the dealership again, their new schpeel is "A certain amount of condensation is allowable." What bullshit, they just don't want to admit there really is a problem with this. There should be a friggin recall.

Mine was doing it really bad on the drivers side. Me and the old man spent a sunday afternoon opening it and resealing it with a insane amount of silicone. It doesn't fog anymore, not more condensation smile BTW It's $250 for a light at the dealer. So dont think of it as a hassle, think of it as working for $250. =)

MOST OF THE CONDENSATION PROBLEMS AREN'T from bad seals, their from mist or steam getting in the drain valve on the backside of the headlight housing. The best way to avoid this is to not go though closed autowashes where it gets steamy/misty, and not to spray prolongly on the headlight area when self washing
