Just receive dmy new Dell yesterday and my software today. Once I get my wheels back from the powder coater and get the car of the stands then I will try it out. It shows fuel to air ratio, O2 sensor readings, voltage, and tons of other parameters. It also has a dyno for HP, toruqe and quarter mile times. I have everything needed to hook it up to my car plus everything needed to run it through my in-dash TV...

Nice. Where did you get that diagnostic reader for your car from? I was looking at some of those like the Car Chip, and was wondering if they work well. Let us know how you like it.

From what I know, it just reads your ECU and interprets all the data somehow. Guess it just does the math? confused

They have 2 kinds over there ,one for $99 and the second for $129.

Only kind I have seen are called Car Chips, but I'm sure that there are plenty of shitty brands out there. Wonder what brand would be the best for your money? Sounds like it would benefit you a little better than one of those G-Techs cause from what I've heard, they aren't too accurate for what they cost. thumbsdown

The website says 230 for teh OBD-II port and software. That's what you ordered right? Have you plugged it up to your car yet to see if it works? I was told that it may not work w/ the Celica...but I don't know

He's right. Dell is a PoS brand. I don't know what all the hype is all about. Custom built, THAT'S the way to go!

Can you put it in your car??? I bought a Dell because it was easy.. I got on the internet told them what i wanted and it was here in 5 days.. I was able to upgrade it before it even got here... Plus it does work really well... Lastly the cover is blue so it matches my car smile

no way can I put it in my ride. It's like a 3 foot custom tower with like 8 fans, neons, etc. wouldn't want to... Don't worry, no matter what the haters say, most of us had a Dell back in the day or some equivalent thereof, convenience is a great marketing tool plus I have yet to build my own laptop (the latter being much harder than the desktop variety) thumbsup
