Anyway, I'm getting the full IPT kit in a few days and was thinking about swapping this piece with the new TRD seen above. What do you guys think?

Id stick with ipt since you got the money obviously...ipt is just nicer

Sorry, I guess peeps aren't really understanding me... I've already purchased the full IPT kit, it's arriving in a few days, and I'm thinking of swapping their engine cover with the TRD one. Wanted opinions

the trd one is a peice of crap... it isnt a replacement ... just covers the existing cover.

well if you already got that ipt, then it cant be helped. keep the ipt, im pretty sure that it is very good quality. just get a TRD decal and stick it on there. it will be the same.

thinking that too because I've been going mostly TRD in part upgrades. I guess I'll just get a sweet TRD decal this time though since this TRD cover is apparently not up to the quality of the IPT piece...

the TRD looks nice, but it attaches with some velcro to the stock cover (from what I've heard)

I would say stay with the IPT. I don't like to advertise on my car, but a lot of people like the look of the logo.

TRD is a cover. and look like a cheap cover. IPT looks nicer to me. i wont give a damn if it doesnt say TRD on it, or else make a sticker and stick it on

Yea IPT...cause that TRD one SUCKS!!! My friend got it and it just looks cheap plus ur old plastics stay on and it just covers it. So you can still see it underneath

from looking at the pic, it seems to only cover the top half of the cover.

The TRD cover is on back order. I ordered one 2 weeks ago and had to call to find out where the hell it was. It will be a month or so before it's available again.

ok, from the responses to the TRD, I'll just stay with the IPT product and stick a decal on it

Yeah, I've already ordered the TRD myself. I mean if you have the money, IPT is nicer, but it's also about twice the price.

Why not spend 70.00 more for a real thing and not one that caps over and velcros to the original plastic
