Celica Forums General Discussion General Local Sponsor YES/NO?

I just got word from a local car stereo dealer that they might be interested in sponsoring my Celi. The woman I spoke with said she would have to talk to the owner of the company to give me a definitive "yes or no." But she did tell me the last car they were going to sponsor dropped out on them so they are looking for someone new. The part that really made me feel proud was that she asked ME if I was interested in being sponsored. I don't know what the sponsorship will include though if it will range from audio/visual to performance or just AV. But a discount is a discount. And I also know these people, they do good business and their services are pretty well rounded. Hehe, so maybe I can get some preformance upgrades along with the AV. And furthermore I would rather help out someone local then a bunch of corporate suits I've never met. I need to find out some more info, I will be sure to post my findings. But for the time being I just wanted to get some of your opinions. Maybe some questions I should ask these people to make sure everything is on the up and up.

Its a severely Photo Chopped Dodge SRT-4. It was done by a friend of mine. I just did the lettering.

I say go for it. Ask them for how long it would be for. Car stereo places are cool to sponsor for. I had a friend that was sponsored by ' The Glossier' and they gave him free car wipes all the time!

Just got word from the woman that works at the car stereo dealer, she said they WILL sponsor me! So I am leaving work early today to go talk to the owner and work out all the fine details. From what I understand the deal is this: I go to shows for them and they completely redo my car's entire system. She said that all I have to do is pay for the actual products I want in my car. At first I was not so sure it was all that great a deal but then she told me they get all their merchandise wholesale. She said I would not have to pay retail price or taxes on anything I bought from them and that all labor for the custom instillation would be free! As for stickers and shows that is what I am going to talk to the owner about tonight. I do know there is one show he wants me to go to.. but I don't know when or where it is. I will post more details tonight after I get back from seeing the boss man.

Well I just spoke to the owner of Crazy Car Audio (the people who want to sponsor me) he said that he can do just about any kind of custom installation I want.. He also said he wants me to attend at least 10 shows a year once all the mods are done. I told him I didn't think it would be a problem. I'm still not sure if I will be able to get performance mods from him. But he did say he could get me a good deal on rims and vinyls. (if I want to go that direction) Another guy that works at the same store said he could get me a good deal on a carbon fiber hood. So I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Here is a picture of a system somewhat like the one I am thinking about getting. The speakers and amp would be different but the set up is similar to what I want.
