Was looking at these rims and like them a lot.
Did some searching and could only find that Tirerack.com sells them, but I didn't do a lot of searching. I wanna get the 18's, and was wondering if anyone has any opinions on these.
They are Moda R6's, and please refer to the picture below as to how they will look on a Celica. The bolt pattern is 5-100 and they are 5 lug.
From what I remember, they sell for like $240 per rim w/o tire, and I was also wondering if that seems reasonable. Anyone with opinions please get back to me. Thanks. thumbsup

I've never bought rims before. Is that considered expensive? I've seen a lot for like 2-3k for a set.

i would consider that in the middle. not expensive, but not cheep. when i get rims im getting 16'' rota subzero's, mainly because i like a blend of style and performance. theyr 14.5lbs each, and i found a site selling 4 of them shipped for under 500$

EDIT: oh, and my opion of those rims in the pic is that they lack style, theyr very plain, and look like time wasnt spent designing them, but iono, your chice. its just that i woundt ever think of getting them

I don't think that's a lot . The rims alone will be $960. Depending on what tires you get, you'll be running around $1500 give or take.

I want something that closely resembles the stock GTS wheels. I'm looking for the plain look sorta. Not looking for the bling bling come steal me look. Also, I'm trying to stay as far away from chrome as possible.

Why not just go with stock gts wheels then?

Because I like these better. I like how the spokes appear to be flat and not rounded, and I want bigger rims and a smaller profile on the tire.

Anyone know any other online sites that sell rims cheap other than Tirerack?

Not bad, but $240 for one rim...
If you do not care to pay $1000 just for the rims W/O tires search more...You will find something better for that price.
I hope. wave

I dunno, they kind of remind of the wheels that some mustangs come stock with. And $240 isn't that much, if you shop around alittle more, or even find another brand that makes a similar wheel you might find it for less.

Like the first place I went to get a price on my 5Zigens they quoted me $260 a wheel, I went to another place & I bought it from them for $180 a wheel. It helps to shop around & to have patience. Wheels are a big investment, it helps not to rush in, or else you'll regret the set you bought & end up spending more money.

If you can get them for like $1500, then it's worth it. Remember-you will lose some acceleration(I got 18's).
& potholes are a bitch
