I've got a 2003 Celica GTS and I just installed the Injen short ram intake in it. It sounds perfect when your driving, but mine doesn't make that sound when you turn the car off. The sound that sounds like the air leaving the intake. Pssssttttt... That's one of the main reasons I bought it. What can I do to get that Psssttt sound when you turn the car off? Please help me, I've been trying to fix it for a few hours now. thumbsup

thats not air leaving the intake, its air entering the intake. The pressure in the intake while running is below atmosperic temp (unless your turbo'ed), and when you turn it off, air enters the intake to equalize with surrounding air. Small point, but if you want to know whats going on under your hood...

im not sure why its not making that noise coz its suppose to. maybe the engine is sucking air somewhere else. maybe you have an opening closer to the engine bay, if you do the engine is going to suck air through that opening instead of sucking it through the filter, i dunno, im just asumming, i could be wrong. please dont take my word for it, but its something that you should check. thumbsup
