alot of people r going to say get a turbo cause they have a higher hp output and it's cheaper but if you want the supercharger than get if you well get a constant bost through out the dyno

see heres the thing, i dont want all out power, and the supercharger is a lot easier to upgrade later. where as the turbo you have to buy an upgraded wastegate, bov, intercooler, controllers, ect... supercharger = pulleys

I know that a lot of people here will say turbo, but I think the S/C might be a good call. It's a lot of money for 30-40 HP, but it's going to be a lot more fun on a daily basis. You won't need to rev to 5k to feel the difference, and it'll "feel" a lot faster off the line. If you have the cash, GO FOR IT! thumbsup

Turbo all the way. More power and less stress on your motor cause its not belt driven/always running. Just my .02..

If you wan a s/c go with TRD's. Sure it doesn't fit underneath the hood, but it'll cost you about half as much as the Blitz s/c & you'll get about the same 30-40hp gain. Since it's TRD, it wont void your warranty.

turbo is better... no parasitic effects and easier to upgrade and work on.

trd has a supercharger for the celica? i was under the impression that their supercharger was for the 1.8 liter matrix & corrolla...

so, they are compatible but just not feasible within the physical space of the celica's engine bay?

anybody know what's going on with trd's supercharger development for the celica?
