Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior upholstered seats ?

Has anyone had this done? i want to do this to my seats but i want to know around how much it could cost and where i could get it done.

Haven't had it done on a celica but have done it on several cars, the going rate is around $100 a bucket seat in fabric, $200 for leather(each). If you live near the border of mexico, you can have it done for less then half those prices. Just go to any upholstery shop for an estimate.

Actualy - for a good job and material that will last - it will cost you from $300 to $600

The price that Jimbob quoted you is for "Custom Seat Covers" that can be order at any Pepboys or Autozone.

Make sure you install good material - stuff that wont fade in the 100+ degree heat and direct sunlight - some shops with try to get away with putting "furnature", aka "house" material onto your seats... this stuff fades after 1 year and gets thin/tears after about 20,000 miles of driving
