What's the advantage of buying an atermarket battery tie down, like Hypermotive? Is it mainly for looks or do they hold the battery better than the stock piece.
I'm thinking of buying the Hypermotive one, but if the stock piece is just as good, I might as well get it powder coated.

if your stock tie down already works... then buying anything else would be just for looks

Mainly for looks... It flows well with the Hypermotive front strut bar. I've got an extra one ( Hypermotive Battery Tie Down ), pm me if interested

Ha ha, I think you can buy packages with them in it. That's what i would do.
