Description: With only 353 miles on the odometer, this Enzo sustained approximately $400,000 in damages. Rumor suggests that this car was being driven by the owner's son. The owner apparently owns a huge RV manufacturing company or dealership. This is actually the 2nd Enzo to be wrecked. A yellow Enzo holds the honors as the first wreck (trying to get pictures of that one!)
only a few came to the U.S... there were 399 made of these, 2nd wreck, 397 more left
I'm pretty sure the other 397 Enzo owners are scrambling to get their hands on that thing for parts. haha
omg...such a shame...people that dont know how to drive...should DEFINATLY not be able to buy those expensive cars...let alone any car...poor thing...just think guys...just the damage done to that...you could have got around 4 GTS'...
I'm not so horribly sad. I'm sure the guy has insurance, and the article doesn't say he was injured. Good to know he was pushing the car a little... even if he wasn't so great at it

If you have over a million dollars in assets (which this guy most likely had) then you don't have to have insurance. Besides, if he claimed this on his insurance, you know how badly he would be raped?

I heard that the guy was sending it back to italy to get fixed... Its retarded to have a car like that in the states because any piece of shit pick up truck can hit it at 10 mph, and cause a quarter million dollars in damage, if not more. at least if ur in germany, italy, or most any euro country for that matter, there arent as many idiot/ignorant drivers as there are in america. plus, in germany, they have to cath the enzo to damage it
But it would be funny if some redneck hit you and you were driving an Enzo, and it was his fault. Just to see the look on his face would be priceless. Not to mention that he would most likely kill himself due to the fact that he would never be able to legally drive again because no insurance company would cover him.

this guy must be pretty dumb to crash that car like that. it has perfect speed, perfect handling, perfect braking. how stupid could you be to push the car so far that you cant even control it? for crying out loud its still a car and cant stop in less than a second if going 100mph. i dont think this car will be repaired. ferrari has stopped production of this car and im sure they dont have spare parts for this. i hope they dont fix it, the owner and his son dont deserve it!
thats how it is. you have to be preapproved by ferrari for certain ferrari's, if not ALL ferraris... they check to see if you were a previous owner, and wrecks, etc...

Even the rich must carry liability insurance; it's required by law.

I just wanted to point out that you could buy a whole hell of a lot more than 4 GTS with 400 grand, hell you could probably get 10 Supras
The hell with the car, imagine the kid & all the crap that his dad is gonna give him. The kid's gonna have to go & work the corner for the rest of his life
if that was my car and it got wrecked like that, i would just go ahead and shoot myself in the face... it would be stuck in my head the rest of my life

I think the Enzo, F40 and F50 are the only ones that they screen for. The "cheap" Ferrari's can just be purchased from a dealer
Does anyone have this guy's contact info? I wanna see if he'll part-out the car. I'll take the brakes, seats, and Ferrari steering wheel.

Right about that. Can't buy an Enzo from Italy unless you are a proven Ferrari collector.

when they first went on sale, the made a list of potential owners. you had to have owned an F40 and an F50 to even be considered for the list, much less an actual car.

thats why they are like 600k new, and 2 mil used. they sell them for soo much more used because its the only way people who want that car, and never owned the F40, or F50 can get it...

ahaha, I missread the original post. I thought it said $100,000 worth of damage. I was just re-reading the thread today and seen my mistake...hoping nobody caught it!
