my friend was asking me if i wanted to purchase some 16 inch c2's from him, but i said i wanted to wait and buy 18 inch ones. he said it will "rub" or something and it will fuck up my suspension, is there anything wrong with 18 inch rims for you guys that have them

I'd say the only problem you'd have is it scraping the top of the wheel well, if the car's lowered too low.

I have 18's with 215/40's and TRD lowering springs. They rub a little bit, not to much. Only if I turn the stearing wheel all the way.

It also depends on the offset of the rim.

I have Konig 18x7.5 w/ 225 35's and TRD springs, I only get minimal rub when wheel is fully turned.
